Turn daily coffee breaks into your very own Mad Hatter’s tea party, by sipping hot drinks from this lovely tankard style coffee mug, from the Alice in Wonderland collection by V&A. This fine china coffee cup depicts the angry Queen of Hearts. Finished in gold, the pattern on her dress shimmers against the black and white of the sketch, adding a little extra wonder to the moment. The design is inspired by an Alice in Wonderland card game, which is in turn based on illustrations by Sir John Tenniel (1820-1914). The Queen’s famous command, ‘off with their heads, is printed on the inside rim of the mug in a striking, swirling font. Turn this Alice in Wonderland mug around and youll find the White Rabbit, dressed smartly in a tunic, holding a scroll and playing a golden trumpet.
